Seit 2022 ist Ton zu einem wichtigen Material meiner Arbeit geworden. Dreidimensionale Bilder zu malen und den Ton auch auf andere Weise gestalten zu können, wie durch das Wegkratzen und Einritzen eröffnen Möglichkeiten, die etwas anderes hervorbringen, als meine Arbeit auf Leinwand oder Papier. Wie ein lebendiges Wesen bestimmt das Material die nächsten Schritte, weil unzählige Variablen den Prozess beeinflussen. 

CERAMIC

Since 2022, clay has become an important material in my work. Painting three-dimensional images and being able to shape the clay in other ways, such as by scratching and carving, open up possibilities that produce something different than my work on canvas or paper. Like a living creature, the material determines the next steps because countless variables influence the process.
